An important aspect of the process of determining insulation resistance is the reference temperature at which manufacturer of the tested facility conducted tests. The measurement result shall be corrected with the correction coefficient for the actual facility temperature. This parameter is measured by the ST-1 probe. For example, is the reference temperature of the facility is 20°C, and the measurement was carried out in other conditions, the obtained result shall be calculated to the reference temperature by using the proper temperature correction coefficient.
